Samual Yi
Co-President & Partner
Samuel Yi, affectionately known as Sam, has called Nashville home for over three decades after immigrating from Seoul, South Korea. As the only son in a family of six children, Sam served in the Korean military before pursuing his dreams of freedom and economic opportunity in America. He has been happily married to his wife, Anna Yi, for 38 years. Sam's entrepreneurial spirit led him to successfully manage several dry cleaners and convenience stores across the Nashville area. His hands-on experience in construction and welding has been instrumental in shaping his approach to business. Today, Sam combines his diverse skills to run Tony’s Shoe Service, a business that thrives on craftsmanship and dedication.
Anna Yi
Co-President & Partner
Anna Yi was born and raised in Song Nam, South Korea, in a family of entrepreneurs. Her father owned a fishing and sporting goods store, while her mother was a master seamstress. Inspired by her mother, Anna honed her tailoring skills from a young age, learning to tailor anything she could get her hands on. She takes great pride in her craft, turning her passion into a profession. Anna has worked alongside her husband, Sam, for many years, repairing shoes, bags, jackets, and more. Her dedication and expertise are integral to the success of Tony’s Shoe Service.
